Present

Live they said, 
Live in the present they said 
Nothing but the present is felt the most within 
Feel your emotions they said 
Conquest of emotions is a charm they said 

All that remains is but the result of the gory present 
No breath left to take, 
No emotion but despair that remains 
All that calls out for reason is withdrawal 
Yet that is not an option, 

What drove in this feeling of despair, 
What took out the sweet scent of self sustenance,  
What caused the healthy mind to go averse, 
Known to none, even to myself, and matter does it not, 
Fear- You Own the place but not the space within 

Fear- You shall not last forever, for  
Live the life they said,  
Courage they said shall find you in unforseen circumstances 
Why would we deserve this punishment? 
Growing roots I am to be able to sustain and survive, 


The present may be horrors personified  
Hope may be all but lost, 
Health may have deserted you, 
THE ONE remains, 
Corrupt or not- the soul still remains 
Live the life they said, the soul remains and so does sustenance, 
For whatever the case may be -  
This too will pass...

                                         Just coming along…. To begin with, the other day seems to be happening just again and again. Well not exactly in the BMTC buses nowadays, but rather everywhere. I admit, rather sheepishly, I too have been bitten by the mobile bug (read talking on the road). Curled up in a corner One after the other does the lightning hit across the face Many faces and hearts are strained and stretched in ways incomprehensible to scotoma Entrails get strewn all around with all the heart left charred... Lonely and bereft, pain is a constant reminder of a sum, Innate calculations and inherent qualities all are but thrown across the curb, O.. Very many are the facets of life than sums and divides of an emoting wanderer, Every life has its moments, most in the shadow, yet not all find joy in the light above Life.. A journey taken in the moments of each facets Intuition they say, inhibitions take their places and rule  that are filled with I For many are the social mores to follow and lived around for.. Words, thank you for failing me Neither could I write on it nor reflect Worlds are built and worlds are lost On people, yet disappear they do in a moment Words, thank you for failing me Words are better at failing than worlds all over Time and time again do you fail In need and in deed do you forgo Words, thank you for failing me For when it is meant to be told Is meant not be said, and not be remembered Words, are just as good as nothing! Hearts are broken, not to be mended or to chill Hearts are as hearts are.. being.. breathing! Time to breathe, to be while words be quiet The broken hearts just breathe and move on For losing people is not the pain.  Words spent in deeds    are not the poisons The memory of pain is only realised, when Words in silence can fail just as when spoken Words, thank you for failing me!
